Mark M. O'Mara, Esq.
Mark M. O’Mara has been a fixture in the Central Florida legal community since 1982. He began his career as a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s office in Seminole County, but then crossed to the other side of the courtroom and has served as a defense attorney since. Mark has practiced in state and federal courts throughout the nation and works as a trial consultant by helping other lawyers perform at their peak in trials with complicated legal issues and intense media scrutiny.
Mark earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 1982 and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in 1979. He has taught at the University of Central Florida, Florida State University School of Law, Duquesne School of Law, and Harvard Law School. Mark is board certified in Criminal Trial Law and Marital and Family Law and is a Top 100 Lawyer, as recognized by The National Trial Lawyers. Additionally, Mark is in the Top One Percent of his field, as rated by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He holds a Superb rating with AVVO and a Preeminent rating with Martindale-Hubbell.
David Bigney, Esq.
David Bigney has been a criminal trial lawyer for over 25 years. He is admitted to practice before Middle District of Florida and all the state courts in Florida. He has practiced throughout Florida since graduating from Nova Southeastern University Law School in 1997. He handles all types of criminal cases including felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic charges and ranging from first degree murder to trespass. He handles both criminal and administrative matters for most of the Central Florida Fraternal Order of Police organizations. He has done well over 100 jury trials and has successfully argued “stand your ground” motions. Mr. Bigney has been regularly recognized as a Florida “Super Lawyer” since 2015, and he is also named to the Florida Legal Elite for Criminal Law. Andrew Moses, Esq.
Andrew Moses has been a criminal trial lawyer for over 16 years. He attended the University of Florida as both an undergraduate and law school graduate student. He began his criminal law career as an Assistant State Attorney and now serves as a criminal defense lawyer. Mr. Moses has handled cases ranging from simple misdemeanor and traffic cases to serious felonies including murder and drug trafficking. He has also been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by his peers and has been awarded an AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
Jay R. Rooth, Esq.
Jay R. Rooth started his legal career prosecuting cases at the Orange and Osceola County State Attorneys Offices, but now dedicates his career to Criminal Defense. As a former Prosecutor, Jay Rooth has unique experience and perspective in defending his clients. Jay has over 15 years of Criminal Law experience. Jay Rooth earned his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Business from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and then earned his Law degree from Barry University Law School. Jay is an active member of the Florida Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association Criminal Committee, and the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

Bert W. Barclay, Esq.
Bert, a Central Florida native, is a highly experienced and respected criminal defense attorney who has practiced for over 35 years. Bert obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University.
Bert began his legal career at the Office of the Public Defender for Orange County where he represented clients in a wide range of criminal matters, ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree murder cases. Since then, Bert has entered private practice and has been a mainstay in the Central Florida criminal defense community.
